The Following Airlines Discriminate Against Dogs!

Recently several airlines have changed their policy regarding the shipping of live animals. The following airlines refuse to allow specific breeds of dogs to be shipped on their planes. This discrimination must be dealt with now. Boycott these airlines at all costs and encourage others to do so. ALL dog owners should be outraged by this and should participate in the boycott.

United Air Lines: will ship only animals from wholesalers such as puppymills.

Continental: "Continental no longer accepts American Pit Bull Terriers and we will refuse any animal that is offensive or shows aggression. This embargo does not apply to American Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, or Miniature Bull Terriers. Crossbreeds with American Pit Bull Terriers are also excluded from this embargo."

American Airlines: "Exceptions to Canine Acceptance. American Airlines does not accept the following breeds of dogs: American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, Doberman Pinscher and Rottweiler or any dog that exhibits aggressive behavior. The acceptance of crossbreeds of dogs that contain one or more of these breeds is also prohibited. Exceptions to this rule are:

Puppies of these breeds when between the age of 8 and 12 weeks old
Service animals transported on behalf of a disabled passenger
Official search and rescue dogs, with documentation
Official bomb- or drug-detecting dogs, with documentation

AA Cargo and PPS will not accept snub-nosed animal shipments if the temperature is over 75 degrees Fahrenheit anywhere in the routing. Some examples of snub-nosed breeds of dogs or cats are: Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
